A NEW ERA FOR ALICE STREET: MERITON'S TWIN TOWERS TRANSFORMING BRISBANE'S SKYLINE

Meriton, led by the visionary Harry Triguboff, has finally unveiled plans for a groundbreaking twin-tower project at 204 Alice Street, right opposite our serene Botanic Gardens.

This ambitious project is a significant leap from Meriton's recent focus on the Gold Coast. With an investment of $140 million back in May 2023, Triguboff acquired The Gardens Apartments, paving the way for this new venture. The 70-storey tower plans to house 262 short-term accommodation units, 456 apartments, and ground-floor dining options, offering a blend of luxury and practicality. Addressing one of the most pressing urban challenges, the development includes a generous provision of 913 car parking spaces, with a substantial 800 reserved for residents. This feature is a thoughtful addition, considering our city's growing demand for convenient parking solutions.

The new towers will replace the aging 16-storey Gardens Apartments and adjacent townhouses. Spanning a 5485sqm area with frontages to both Alice and Margaret streets, this transformation is not just a change of structures but a rejuvenation of our neighborhood's spirit.
